This is a type of service that involves open source information collection on our targets. The approach towards performing this type of service is purely gathering information on the Internet. As such, no penetration testing will be performed on our client’s target systems.

The standard methods of Internet surfing only covers approximately 10% of the Internet, this is known as the surface web. As such, the amount of information gathered by simple “Googling” will only cover a small portion of the publicly available information.

The techniques adapted by our cyber security experts will include data gathering in both the deep and dark web of the Internet. This ensures that all publicly available information is covered and that we leave no stone unturned. The scope of a threat intelligence exercise is broad. Our consultants will harvest every single bit of public information available and evaluate the security risk it poses to our clients. In our experience, password leakage is the most common results of our search amongst other relative information that can be used to target a victim organization.
