PENETRATION TEST

In an internal network penetration test, we will simulate an insider threat scenario. An insider threat could be deliberate attacks from rogue employees or anyone with access to your system; or it could be attacks from external hackers that have gained access to your internal corporate networks via other attack vectors.

Internal network security vulnerabilities are often neglected due to the closed-off environment from the public Internet; however, the lowest severity of vulnerabilities, when chained together, could allow an attacker to achieve a full compromise of the corporate domain. This includes, but are not limited to sensitive Intellectual Properties (IP), future business plans, staff or customer personal information, and in certain cases, passwords that could lead to a compromise of non-work accounts such as personal social media accounts.

Our testing methodologies have proven to be comprehensive and are able to uncover the slightest misconfiguration that could put your assets at risk. As the threat landscape constantly changes within an IT environment, we would recommend an annual penetration test on your internal corporate network.
