The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside of the EU and EEA countries. In short, the GDPR give individuals control over their personal data for the purpose of boosting the security of the cyber space within the EU.

Failure to comply with all elements of the Regulation will result to heavy fines issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The GDPR Compliance Assessment bundle we offer is engineered to help organisations in achieving GDPR compliance by performing audits, which consists of various phases. This is intended to serve as a one-stop-shop for the foundation of your cyber security needs. As such, it is recommended by us that this audit is performed on an annual basis.

Furthermore, this can be a stepping stone towards other compliance certifications such as ISO 27001, as the assessment will overlap with several aspects of these certifications.
